nvidia led visualizer not working OCUK GTX970

I have an overclockers uk GTX970, i have tried Changing the nvidia led visualizer but it only appears to work on the brightness , all the other settings just make the LED strobe very rapidly..:confused:
 
just a gentle pulse.. but even the audio one creates a strobe effect when it comes on
 
Breathing, 25% speed, play with the brightness.... there is a delay but if there wasn't it wouldn't replicate breathing
 
pmsl ive been such a noob... im looking through fan window which makes it strobe :( sorry
