nVidia Media Shield.

HI.
The mobo i bought the other day has the nVidia Mediashield stuff on it for RAID configs and the like.
Does anyone know if theres any software to control/monitor all this, as theres no point me having a RAID array if i dont know when a drives failed. lol.

Mobo is Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2.

ok, not impressed.
I managed to find the nVidia Media Shield app hidden on the mobos CD, which'll tell me bits and bobs but not much.
So i update the BIOS, and now one of the drives fail!!!!

...yet the drive works in this USB caddy ive got at work.

Any ideas before i return the drive?
