Nvidia Montreal Stream Day #2

Will this be a full gk110, or is it a rebranded Titan maybe with slightly higher clocks now just so people who bought Titan won't see them drop to £500-600 it's a "new" card that is much cheaper, not the same one.

I can see it being a hybrid of sorts - maybe a full fat GK110 but still with the reduced VRAM, so faster than 780 and Titan, but Titan still have it's niche as a multi card - multi monitor solution

Considering he said sli + 4k surround I would guess it's actually a slightly overclocked 780gtx with more memory. Hmm, it's actually hard to know in general more cores + lower clocks = lower power and he said low power quite a few times. So maybe just a few of the full fat cores with more memory but not maxed out clocks. Who knows basically, considering AMD look like putting out a 4gb card at £350+ then Nvidia probably want a >3gb card below Titan ;)

G-Sync sounds great IMHO. I hate screen tearing and while lag can be reduced with FPS caps and vsync it is always there, so the technology is welcome. Unfortunately if it is Nvidia only it won't be an option as I don't like any hardware that has a vendor lock-out. Any such monitor would need to be open to any GPU vendor for me to consider it as an option.

GTX780Ti. My guess it will be a Titan with 3GB VRAM and higher clocks, hopefully it will be priced similar to the current GTX780 which will drop to GTX770 levels. 20nm must be a long way off if both AMD and Nvidia are pushing 28nm for so long. :)

yep, whatever nvidia release now, it has to be faster than Titan, and cheaper, to fight against the 290X which is looking like it is very close to (and beating in mantle games)

I would like this to be the case but we have only seen 290x official benches on AMD optimized games and at really high resolutions. Hopefully we see this same performance in 1080p and 1200p but i am doubtful. Meh, still gonna get one anyway.
