nvidia new gaming controller

Nice piece of hardware but I can't imagine a situation where I'd really use it. Not sure how the PC streaming works but surely that couldn't be used on the move, leaving you with crappy mobile games.

Watching the video, the mirroring feature has substantially more delay on the video then the Wii U controller for example. Can see it being a problem.

Cloud is the future! Well so everyone wants us to believe.

Though seriously it probably is once latency is dealt with.

This does not appeal to me at all. I have a HDMI cable and an S3, why would I use this over using an xbox pad? Why would I play my games on a tiny screen when I have a 50" plasma? Why would I buy android games on something other than my phone?

Who the hell are they aiming this at?

This - I managed to get Skyrim streaming to my nexus tablet and my 360 controller worked as it was still in range of the PC, but honestly, why bother when you can actually sit in front of your 24' monitor and get the full experience?

Too many gaming devices :( for portable gaming a tablet and wireless controller is the king and Nvidia should just concentrate and producing chipsets like Tegra 4 for these already established devices.

In my gaming Utopia the PC would also be the lounge console (steam i'm looking at you) and the Likes of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft would bring their games out for the PC / Steambox ending the need to own multiple consoles in order to play games like Halo, Mario Kart and Uncharted.

Last but not least I would like Apple to include drivers in iOS for PS3 Controllers, Imagine the iPad 4 with a Dualshock 3, would be the ultimate portable console :)

Don't most people have laptops these days anyway, I thought not many people except gamers have a desktop pc?

So you have a laptop, which is a PORTABLE device...why would you want to use another portable device instead?

I don't get it.

Really don't see the point of this, well I do but in a real world situation I don't know who would want it..

One of those cool ideas thought up by tech geeks to see if it can be done but no one actually wants it.

Looks like the kind of thing i'd chuck in the cupboard to gather dust after the new fangledness wore off.
