Right i know its along time till november when they release there next gen cards but i want to understand there drivers, cause its got me confused.
Ive never had a nvidia card apart from one that was in my very old pc, so basically i dont know anything about there drivers.

With ati i just grab the latest catalyst drivers install it and thats it no tweaking or anything there just fine.
But what i keep hearing is for nvidia drivers you got to set up profiles to play games? is that right, or is that to do with SLI?

thats with sli. with a single card you dont really need to go into the control centre at all really (unless you just want to change some stuff on your own)

good keeps my mind at rest come november :)

Game Profiles are used if you want to have 16xAA in game A but only want 4xAA in game B

There are default image quality settings that all games use if there is no specific profile, it jst allows you to have specific image settings for each game.
