Should I trust the ntune "tune system" section?

I ran it quickly for 20 minutes on my 8800gtx oc and it had the following to say

Well for me it's said +14% on the PCI-E bus. So I've went from 2500Mhz to 2850Mhz. Ran 3DMark06 and no change in the results. :confused:

Is it safe to up the PCI-E bus speed?
 
actually mine went up 24 % as well . but ive no clue what the pcie bus does so left it normal.

this was a galaxy 7300gt
 
Aye, I've had to put mine back to normal, as it would cause windows to hang during startup. I could still press CTRL+ALT+DEL and when I did I saw that the nTune service was like 100%. As soon as I kill it, Windows would load.

Don't think I'm missing out on anything anyways. :)
