hey im just wondering if there is any down side to having an amd processor with an nvidia graphics card or should i just go amd?

If you go above the 560 ti, performance starts to tail off with an Amd/Nvidia combination:

I would hold off for a few weeks anyway as the new 7 series mid range cards could be out offering more performance/features for less cash.

Nvidia is rumoured to be dropping prices on current cards in response too.

If you can't wait however a cheap 560 ti @£165 is one of the best bang for buck cards at the moment.

i'd go nvidia just because of the amount of troubles amd users have been having ewith drivers for pretty much every game released recently

Same old ****, different day.

I wish I got a card with infallible drivers, can someone point one out for me the next time I upgrade?
