Hi all.

Im just wondering which GPU would better suit my needs performance wise. I mainly use adobe after effects and Cinema 4D, also use photoshop.

Now i hear CUDA is great for increased rendering times, but does it work with after effects and cinema 4d? i know it works with adobe premier but i don't use that.

I also read about openGL. does that try to put the processing onto the GPU? increasing performance for 3D and video?

BASICALLY i want to try and understand about how a computer can best utilize the GPU's power. I mean if you have a big fat GPU sat there, it would be nice to use all of it in your computers processing.

By default do video and 3D applications use the GPU at all? Or is it all CPU and ram?

Hope you can help!! :)
