ive owned both a geforce and a radeon and in terms of top of the range engine games being played on both at the time, the ati wipes the floor with the nvidia.

Get what is best at the time IceShock. If you bought a system now and could offord it then 8800 will be nice.

Thats like me saying stick with ATi, my x1800 XT 512mb is way faster than the 7600 GT, supports SM3.0 just like it, but it has better image quality, and can do AA+HDR which the poor 7600 GT can't, wtf is that about.![]()
