right i know there is a lot of controversy about these two cards but im going to be upgrading my system very soon, (waiting for the new cpus to come out) and in the mean time i want to know which is better. im mainly playing CSS and some other games and i want new games also like crysis as i played it at my mates but my lil old sstem would not even give it a thought if i installed it. so do i get GTX 280 or a ATI 4870?

my price range is about £300 and i want something that i can just max out the settings no problem and have it last me a few years if possible lol

so what you think..........
