The 4870 has support for cuda support, all it takes is someone to make drivers which proberbly will happen but due to the fact you're such a **** you wont take it in.
4870 has no cuda support, since only people to provide that real support will be ATi, or nvidia, and i doubt nvidia will make drivers for ati cards since nvidia struggle to make drivers for their own cards.
someone mentioned that ATi have no intention to support cuda. so your gonna have to rely on dodgey drivers and unofficial support for the cuda, and if you get loads of crashing and unstable usage with those drivers you cant go complain to anyone since they are non official drivers.
what you should have said is that "the 4870 architecture is capable of supporting CUDA but wether official support for it is available is anyones guess"
but insted you fell like comming on here like and arse and mouthing off with personal insults for pretty much no reason at all.
same old willy
