nvidia PhysX GPU idle power consumption?

anyone know how much power is used by an nVidia GPU sitting there, for PhysX?

i know with hybrid-PhysX where ATI and nVidia are mixed, the nVidia card will continue to draw a lot of power because it is in multi-monitor mode. which is understandable because the hybrid-PhysX hack is basically enabling multimonitor mode.

but if single monitor, with nVidia as primary adaptor. how much power will, say 8800GT, draw when it's plugged in for PhysX duties? does it shutdown completely?

even if the physx draws standard single monitor idle amount, it is still pretty stupid, considering it's not outputing to any monitor and nVidia have already nailed Optimus technology for laptops.

asking because for some reason, only getting 33 FPS in Mafia 2 benchmark. no improvement over 30 FPS with 5870 + 8800GT. hoping adding physx card might enable me to play more smoothly and won't need to remove the card when not playing the game. 8800GT is pretty wasteful during idle, consumes over 30w whereas 5870 and gtx580 both consume about 25w, and both are much more powerful GPU.
