Simple question is Nvidia PhysX worth bothering with?
Just fitted a GTX460 to my nephew's pc, I have a spare 8800GTS 640mb, is there any benefit adding this card to the setup.
 
Not at all.

The 460 will handle physx just fine on its own in the minority of games that actually use it.
An added 8800GTS will just add extra heat, extra noise and extra power usage, with little benefit to a very small number of games.

I went from ATi 4850's to nvidia GTX480 and in Batman Arkham Asylum there was a big difference, just run the benchmark test in that game if you have it to see some of the differences.
