Nvidia planned obsolescence VRAM thread

Ironically was in the process of helping a change over from 3070 to 6700xt.

Hwunboxed just dropped a video an hour ago

IMHO any cards with 8GB VRAM are now DOA

Thoughts?

If only games had options that allow you tune settings for various setups. Maybe one day, maybe....

But should users need to do this for cards which are yet to be released. Maybe the game settings aren't the problem - if the VRAM was there the cards would run it perfectly, I recall a 290x 8gb version in 2013,

End off the day if the developers don't make games that cannot run on the most popular cards and setups they won't sell many games.

if only it was end of the day they wont make Gcards they cannot sell..

People get Playable and Acceptable confused. 8GB is not enough. Tech should have moved on since 2013. Baffles my mind people saying lOwEr ThE sEtTiNgS ................................

the 3060 12gb is a confession.
the revised 10gb 3080 is a confession.
the 12gb 2060 LMAO is a conffesion.
