Nvidia playing some dirty tactics.

That is low.... desperate times maybe?

But there is no solid proof so really its just speculation and down to what you think.

Not really.

To be fair its not exactly nVidia playing dirty here as such. The game uses a standard tessellation implementation - nothing fancy - and AMD are suggesting the developer uses a different approach that AMD have come up with - that granted does have some benefits... the problem for nVidia is it diminishes how apparent the raw tessellation performance difference is between their cards and AMD's new cards. Its not as straight forward as this however and AMD seem to be more interested in using it to score political points atm.

nVidia and Ubisoft have been at it before with Assassin's Creed and DX10.1, no surprises here really.

Come on Rroff, you know they're playing dirty, this is how they will try to "maintain" having the better performance some how. They can't match value for money, so they have to get the upper hand some way.
