NVidia prepare for Big Bang II – OpenGL 3.0 and SLI Multi Monitor Support

NVidia are planning to launch a major drive release they are code naming “Big Bang II” (Release 180 or R180). Amongst other improvements OpenGL 3.0 and multi-monitor support is on the list.

..and are no longer limited by it's supported video modes, so SLI'd 3x1680x1050 could soon be a viable option.

I'd expect anything built with Id's Tech5 engine to support it. Maybe.

I wonder how this would work with a 22" central monitor and a cheapo 17" on the sides?

Or would all monitors need to be the same size and res?
