Nvidia preparing new Geforce with GK110

Tentative about G-Sync - don't really see a huge need for it at 120+Hz especially 144Hz but it could be a big deal for people who want ultra high res panels that don't do above 60Hz.

Tearing or input lag are a trade off of what the user prefers to have. For a 120Hz monitor, I never once noticed tearing, even at over 200fps constant but dropping back to a 60Hz monitor, I forgot how bad tearing is. 120Hz 1440P/1600P would be the best way to go but G-Sync seems to be the cure for now and reduces input lag.

This is my take on it.

I am undeterred, confident my 290 pro will outclock a 780ti.

What you mean it will win in benchmarks, heavily artefacting and score a small number higher than lower clocked 780ti's, all whilst running at near 100c and your electricity meter visibly moving as you do so?

Interested to see if GSync is game changing as predicted here. :)

Predicted here? Ryan, Linus and Rein have seen it with their own eyes and have all said something along the lines of game changing, big difference, the future of gaming.

Gratz to nvidia for this conference, absolutely smashed it!

3 month ago I would have felt sorry for AMD but lately with the lack of,well.....anything really and asking to pre order a card with no price or benchies I say good day to you Roy and doff my cap

Its a strange one this one, its obviously faster than a 780, the question is how.
If it has more SP's then its a GTX Titan rebadge, so what happens to the Titan?

It gets moved up to the full fat GK110?

Or, is it just a higher clocked 780, yet that would also make it as fast as the Titan.....

Either way, whats happening to the Titan?
