Anyone else think that as the 4850 pretty much makes all Nvidia cards below GTX280 look overpriced it wont be long before they introduce some decent price cuts as currently methinks you would need your head testing if you bought anything other than a 4850 or 2 x 4850.

8800GTX for example I notice has gone up to £270!!!

8800GTX end of line and in short supply hence price goes back up as they will sell all their stocks at that price (eventually ;)

I would expect Nvidia to drop the price slightly but they can't really afford to much since it costs so much to make.

ATI have them stuffed in this round IMO just like Nvidia had AMD beat for the last 18months with the 8800GTX and then the amazing 8800GT.
