Hi,

This is purely a work related question. I think I know the answer but after some confirmation really.

We have a machine that runs some equipment on our site. It was prebuilt buy the company that has commissioned the manufacturing equipment and it's software. It houses two Nvidia Quadro 600's with one monitor connected to each of the cards. The cards have 1 DVI and 1 Display port connection on both.

I have been asked if we can add another two monitors to the setup. I am pretty confident this can be done via a display port to DVI cable but would like confirmation. A quick search on google brings up some not quite concrete answers.

So as stated can a display port to DVI adapter work and allow us to add to more monitors?

Thanks,
