Hey guys, is there a way to bring down the Quadro consumption at IDLE? It's supposed to be circa 6w but it's using around 17.5w. It's on a 4K display at 60hz. Latest Quadro drivers. PCIE power management set to maximum power savings.

Thanks arknor, I'm just using a single 4K monitor at 60hz. I did find a thread where other people 620's report 17.6 w in IDLE, maybe this is just for this HP variant. I can't seem to find a HP BIOS Update tool either, to try that. I can see Dell have one but not HP. Like you say, it isn't massively high power usage, but would prefer it to be around 6w ideally.

Other things I've tried are disabling hardware acceleration: and turning on optimal power in Nvidia settings...

This is an issue with the Arc cards, where there's a difference between idle power between manufacturers and no firmware update available.

You could try some of their tips, you never know...

Thanks Tetras, you might be thinking of the Arc thread? This is for an Nvidia Quadro P620 that won't go under 17.5w even at IDLE. Supposed to go as low as 6w, might just be the HP version of the card stays at 17.5w..
