i have always been a fan of ati graphics card for 2 main reasons one is the rich image quality (2d,3d,web serving,movies) all look amazing,& for the ability to create different profiles (change contrast,brightness,colour,fan speed,OC..etc setttings & save as different profiles,i currently have 4 ati profiles saved) then activate which ever profile i want by simply clicking on right keyboard keys for example Alt + q for gaming & Alt + w for web serving ...etc CAN i do the same with Nvidia ? if the answer is yes then i will buy nvidia gtx card tomorrow if its no then its bye to nvidia 3D gaming.

Yes. the shortcut keys aren't really needed though as that should all be handled automatically.

@Guru
its the same with ati but sometime i need a different profile activated when serving the net for example youtube vids look too dark on my low light web serving profile so i need to activate another profile & once i'm finished with youtube i reactivate the low light profile again. get what i mean ? :)

@Guru
can you do the same with nvidia's own software (like ati's catalyst).

I've never ever seen the point in having different profiles for different applications. I just have the one and it seems perfect for gaming, browsing, films and anything else.

What kind of difference do you have in your profiles, and what kind of benefits do they bring?

majority of the time i use a low light profile which is good enough for web serving (gamma 0.55,brightness -52,contrast 25) but when i want to view web video's like youtube or gametrailer i need a profile like the gaming profile minus the fan speed to be able to view those videos.this is why i need & use different profiles. i hope i'm not confusing you. :)

i wish it was that easy,i need a very low light profile for web serving or else i will get headache,i guess i'm too sensitive to bright screens!

now this page on my low profile looks navy blue (almost black) with white text,this is how low light my monitor need to be & this is why i need different profiles.
