Hey y'all

I currently have a BENQ 144Hz alongside my DELL U2713HM.

I want to use the former for BF4 and the latter for desktop use etc

Does NV allow you to quickly switch from one to the other quickly? I recall AMD used profiles to achieve this?

Basically I want to run either

1. Both monitors for general desktop use
2. Just the BENQ for BF4
3. Just the DELL for other FPS and MMOs

and quickly switch between them...

Possible?

P.S. Windows+P does it but not all three of the above

In BF4 settings you can choose which monitor you want BF4 on so have the Dell as the main monitor then just go into BF4 and click in the settings to move it onto monitor 2.

When I'm in BF3/4 I just disable my Dell completely so nothing can distract me from killing Neil and Greg.... repeatedly.

Only takes about 5 seconds to move from extended desktop to desktop only on '2' so I don't mind.

There may be a smart way to get exactly what you want to achieve but not sure myself.

I know. Because I want the DELL on DP, it means that is #1. You're spot on too - I want to disable the DELL but it's a faff

Can't you do that with a windows button + P in windows 8 anyway? Just disable the second screen and vice versa using that?

This isn't helping much but I used to have an app that you would drag to the monitor you wanted to game on and then just double click it. It was so easy but I can't for the life of me think what it is called :(

Edit

Got it.

Make primary monitor...Simples :)

I also have my TV connected via HDMI, so using Windows+P and selecting the fourth option displays to the TV only.
