I love that it just handles everything you throw at it. Many games I play don’t even need to fully use the GPU.
This is what find with my 4090!

It's like buying a car with a slightly bigger engine and more HP. You won't use it 99.9% of the time, but it's there if you need it. Right....? Man logicMine now mostly plays youtube and OCUK forums, I don't have energy to play![]()

Owns a 5090, back playing older CoD titles
That said, they love to eat up vram at 4K.

You have a year and a half to go, Possibly more if AMD don't cough up decent competition.
This is why I was keen to get it sooner rather than later, should get a good bit of gaming out of it. It seems expensive on paper, then you realise how expensive my wife is and it pales in comparison. It’s also pretty much my only hobby these days.
My ex would spend a grand a month on clothes, Shoes, Makeup, Perfume and accessories, If I spent £100 a month on me I was apparently "being irresponsible"![]()
I've got a meme for this...

My missus is definitely the one in the meme. She'll get it one day...Unfortunately my wife’s hobby is shopping.
I've been getting quite a few crashes in any moderately intensive game recently. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I checked afterburner and somehow I'd accidentally put the power limit all the way down to the lowest
