NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

I use a Samsung G9 oled at 240hz and the Hdmi 2.1 performs at a higher bandwidth than display port.

48 gigabits per second (Gbps)

I also have the 2nd Hdmi connected to a LG Oled C1 when I game at 16:9

Looks like I'm up creek without a paddle now

People don't forget the first obstacle is going to be getting the website to load, let alone actually getting an order through :p
And once you manage to get the website to load………It’s already over.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to run the phone bill up trying to get through to the Saturday morning live competitions on the telly. Not once did I get a chance

Which AIB at MSRP version do you guys usually like? I'm ruling out flagship stuff like Aorus Master/Suprim/Astral at this price point, but since there is so many we have not heard of at all, I really don't know what to go for if I get the opportunity (still expecting majority of available stock to be flagship versions just because they earn the most on that).

Don't think there are any 5090 AIB at the FE MSRP of £1939

Or if the page does load you get hit with other problems like server side caching suggesting the product isn't in stock yet, lol.

GPU cost is bad now they are about to nuclear.

In the short term, only affects Americans and anyone who's wholesalers buy from the USA, such as Canada.

In the long term, if more manufacturing moves back to the USA, it means higher costs for the whole world

Last time Trump floated crazy tariffs it was estimated it would increase the retail prices of affected electronics by between 20 and 50%

Forget NVidia, the big issue with such tariffs would be Apple.

How do you think Americans are going to feel when the cost of their i-devices suddenly skyrockets?

So if this event at the competitor. What is the expected prices for 5080?

I’m thinking people will turn up and the prices will be inflated anyway. So turning up to buy something I don’t know the price of seems like a bad plan…
