NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

So I was aiming for the 5090 yesterday and we all know how that went, so I received my Inno3d 5080 this morning instead.

Initial impressions are it's a very nice 2 slot card, runs really cool and quiet. I've done a bit of overclocking and got it to within 10% of my old 4090, which I sold before these price hikes.
You must be gutted mate. Sorry for your loss

Must be a dodgy temp sensor or the card reporting the temp wrong as no way its running at 30c while gaming.

I dont get these temps on my wc 3080 with 3x360 rads...must be wrong sensor reporting

Yeh but the game isn't running here, it's at idle, my 4090 idles around the same temp.

Besides, clearly fabricated, you can see it says it's a 3080 on the screen grab! :p

Almost 2 grand for a 70 series gpu with an aio glued on. Pass...

At least you're getting a liquid cooled one for that. I'm actually more shocked that they've sold 10 of the £1700 Suprim today. Who the hell is paying £1700 for a 5080 when you could have bought a 4090 for less last year?

This new 5070 series GPU pretending to be a 5080 is still the 3rd fastest gpu in existence. Much better value than a crusty old worn out 4090 from flea bay
