NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

Tell me about it, his conclusion cracked me up

" one thing for certain
though nvidia's marketing about the 5070
versus the 4090 is wrapped in bulls888
and built on a foundation of manure "

Rubbish card. Don't know why anyone wouldn't spend the extra £40 on a 9070xt.

More vram, likely almost 30% faster in raster and probably a bit faster in RT too.

Hopefully this generation is a wake up call for how much nVidia is taking the ****, it won't be though unless the AI demand drops off a cliff :(

9070 probably better
Which is why I don't understand why AMD didn't go lower price and go $500 for the 9070

AMD missed a chance to be comprehensively better

Yup, this is why I'm very interested in seeing how much demand there will be for the 5070 tomorrow
Hopefully they get gobbled up by scammer bots or they just sit around unsold

This will push huge demand for the 9070XT on Thursday

The overclocking results on the tech power up review are interesting

Like, need to see a full review at that clock speed because it gave it a 13% boost :s

Yeah that performance is horrid. Not even beating the 4070 TI is an incredibly poor look. Even the 5080 wasn't that awful of an increase.

Maybe overclocking saves it like the 5080 but meh.
