Ok so 22% faster than the 4070 and 5% faster than the 4070 Super in raster.
15% faster than the 4070 and 1% faster than the 4070 Super in RT.
Its not bad, its also not great, if the 9070 XT is = to 5070 Ti in raster then i think the 9070 is = to 4070 Ti Super.
In RT i think the 9070 XT will beat it by 15% and the 9070 match it in RT, even in Cyberpunk.
If like all other 50 series its only available 20% above MSRP its DOA.

It's making me wonder if we're going to have another 3060ti to 4060ti situation, we may end up having 3 generations of the 60 class cards with no tangible improvement.
Going to be an interesting battle in the entry market, intel cards 5060s vs 9060s

Having a 90% market share doesn't give individuals or companies the right or immunity from lying. There's laws against that.
Imagine if you bought a VW car a few years ago on the basis that VW advertised it as being low on emissions.....

And thought what a nice card, might get one.
Apparently the built in benchmark for cp2077 really likes gpu memory bandwidth and the 5070 doesn't look half bad, matching 4070Ti Super! Except that canned benchmark is not the game. In actual gameplay its behind 4070 non-Ti super (HUB)

Amen. I still have a 1070 in a secondary rig. For a card that beats the 980Ti it's real trooper for 1080p60 esports games.

Nice to see reviews out for the 5070..
Nvidia were right gives the same performance at 640x480 as a 4090 running in 8K for only 1/4 the price.

we will find out tomorrow afternoon with the real reviews but they are not competing it the same space since the 5070ti is 20% + in price , the standard 5070 is what its competing with

He did state that it’s impossible without AI right after a long pause for the people cheering the 4090 performance for $550 though
Which would cover him no doubt
I am in no way defending the tactic..
The problem for AMD was that in terms of MSRP the 5070 is going up against the 9070 non XT which I expect will also get underwhelming reviews.

Mid range seems to have totally died, when they roll out the 5060 we can assess the entry range but to say there has been stagnation is a huge understatement.
Nvidia is gatekeeping performance and trying to force people to pay more if they want an upgrade, it’s largely working as well, how many times do you see people saying I upgraded from a 3060ti to 4070ti/5070ti or a 3070 to 5080 etc.
