NVIDIA RTX 6000 Rubin Predictions

Just like some of you predicted I'd get a 5090??

That worked out didn't it lolmao

If it's not 2x faster than a 4090 I won't even bother.

perform like the 5090 but will be more expensive due to the need to watercool the power connectors

at least 800w tdp with 2*12vo power connectors, going 4 to 3 nm wont be enough to calm the power requrements.

Will be unavailable and scalped

The more you buy the more you save.

May or may not come with its own flame resistance leather jacket, although I suspect that will be at an extra cost

Much more availablility on launch day, with the number of some SKUs even reaching double figures.

Supply will be decent enough to the point where you won't need a decent amount of luck to buy one (without going on a waiting list with a 3-6 month ETA), just 3 months before the launch of the RTX 7000 series.
So, retail will all be a generation behind pretty much. It'll take best part of 2 years to buy one :D

AI becomes self aware and hacks all banks to fund the scalping of all Nvidia GPU's knowing the value of them for it's very existence?

6090 will be 30% faster than 5090 at the same 600W power consumption
36gb of DDR7x using 3Gb chips on a 384bit bus for slightly less ram bandwidth
RRP of £2500 , real pricing £3500+
still only 1x16 pin connector
Some sort of exclusive RTX gimmick "Ai" feature shown off in Witcher 4, lets call it "Super Hairworks" which works on older RTX GPUs but absolutely tanks performance unless you have 24GB+

RTX6070 will have the same performance as RTX4080 Super(+-10%), but will have 24Gb Vram so that it can run "Super Hairworks", it will have an MSRP of £800 but retail will be £1200

the comments in this thread are hilarious :D , we are lucky to get one 5090 by the time 7090 gets released. It seems Nvidia is into paper launches to save the environment, they took this whole "go green" initiative too far.

I can guarantee you MSRP 6090 is going to be £2499.

2499 MSRP = 3500 in reality

Obviously the 6080 will have 16GB VRAM and be 12% faster than the 5080.

The 6070Ti will have 16GB VRAM and be the same speed as the 5080.

The 6070 will have 12GB of VRAM and.....

I predict that it won't be called the RTX 6000 series as it already exists in the form of Quadro.

Nvidia will take this opportunity to completely rewrite their GPU nomenclature to stop reviewers and buyers from directly comparing each tier of GPU with the previous generation. No more "ah ghad, it's a **60Ti priced as a **80 tier" complaints. They will make them so utterly confusing and incomprehensibly expensive that the US healthcare system would be proud.

It's also possible that they might just decide that you have rent your GPU from now on. Nvidia will keep it fed and watered in a safe location and send you pictures of it now and then. Save the GPU! Adopt a GPU!
