Let's rumours begin
Jensen showed this at CES this year and said it's his shield

Im wating for the 9090ti 128G in 2047
Heck, given how slow they are, folks will probably still be waiting for GTA 7Be lucky if even GTA 8 is out by then
Back on topic, I have no interest in Nvidia's upcoming GPUs. They've shown how little they care to give consumers the actual performance and features folks want, at prices folks can afford.
9 out of 10 frames rendered? thats so outdated we'll just say we rendered 100 frames and only render 1Psst... just don't mention that 9 out of 10 frames are AI generated
Analysts are expecting GTA 6 will have an RRP of $100. Do we even want to buy games anymore, GTA 8 will be $500
Some People are still paying 2k for a 4090 that only going be top dog for the next 10 daysImagine buying a 5090 to have it only be top doh for a year
Why release a consumer GPU on the same node?
But people will still say 'New cards are out in a few months, I'd wait if I were you' and AMD fail to gain any market share. Again.£100 less then Nvidia with way worse feature set, then down the road they'll drop prices to what they need to be, give some free games and it becomes a decent choice
It's like Lisa Su is in the room.£100 less then Nvidia with way worse feature set, then down the road they'll drop prices to what they need to be, give some free games and it becomes a decent choice
followed by consumer parts in the 2nd half of 2026
So 5000 series gets a 1 and half year lifespan, Yikes.
I had pretty much same convo with a friend of a friend last year when he did a new PC build, he probably took it as me ******** on AMD but it wasn't, I was just being brutally honest in fact that at launch I wouldn't pick AMD for last 2 gens now, DLSS is just way too good (especially at 4K) to ignore when the prices are so similar, however like i said to him at the current prices (then) I wouldn't pick Nvidia because why would I accept less vram and raw FPS for a good chunk more moneyIt's like Lisa Su is in the room.
It's funny how most view AMDs GPU launches. I'm almost expecting the 9070 to be a positive launch, since our expectations of the company are so low.
I don't have strong feelings on any of them. Nvidia have driven prices sky-high and AMD have been all too happy to follow them.
I can't see Intel getting a B770 out any time soon either.
If AMD release a 9070 at a price that isn't in the style of AMD, then I'll go for it.
You're too optimistic with the half. With mfgx16 6070 = 5090Realistically the 6090 will be the only card to beat the 5090. The 6080 will be around half the 6090 in price and spec. Vram will be the minimum amount for all but the top end sku. The rest of the stack will get a 10-15% bump gen on gen.
There is just no incentive for Nvidia to compete with itself.
