Make no sense to launch RTX 50 SUPER with same GPU spec and more expensive memory, cant see any reason people willing to buy RTX 50 SUPER at very high price. It will not cost same as non RTX 50 SUPER and also non RTX 50 SUPER will not have price cuts due to GDDR7 memory shortage in 2026. It make sense to cancel RTX 50 SUPER because it is pointless and very expensive to launch at very late time in Q3 2026, it would be far too close to RTX 60 launch date. 16GB is fine to me but it would be pointless to buy RTX 5080 SUPER with 24GB that could cost me £1700 with same GPU performance. I rather to buy RTX 6080 24GB when it launch sometime in 2026.

Accorded to google AI that next generation flagship Radeon GPU will expect to complete prototype tapeout and have production chip ready for launch sometime in Q2 2026 to compete with RTX 6090. I guess launch date could change to Q3/Q4 2026 or CES 2027 due to GDDR7 memory shortage.

Next gen Radeon Q2 2026? Guess my 3080s gonna have to last just a little longer...

Makes me wonder if people are actually paying those prices though, can price them at 5k but doesn't mean they sell. I took a hit and paid £300 for 64GB GSKILL (now 799) and sold my 32GB for £150, I thought even if prices stabilise I'm not going to cry about paying £150.

That's good news if true as I'm expecting a much higher price if PC parts pricing trajectory keeps on the same road we're on at the moment.

I can see the founders being £2499 and AIB cards like Astral and Suprim being £3700-£3999

Unless the Ai bubble pops (which is certainly possible) I think Nvidia will struggle to release a compelling 6000 series.

Absent of an AI crash they'll still be able to make more money selling their wares business to business and the associated increased from that and meomoey shortages will make the likes of a 6090 even more prohibitively expensive with the minimum 32gb it will need to retain parity with the 5090 memory wise.

Yeah seems like a fairly concrete time frame now for the 6000 series due to how many are echoing roughly the same dates.

That's probably along the same claim lines as a 5070 being equivalent to a 4090 due to MFG.

I don't think the performance increase will be anywhere near 5x

If it is Nvidia will end up selling a lot less cards.

Quite the opposite. Data centers are limited by power, so having faster cards for the same power, same price... always better. Big problem for those sitting in warehouse waiting for the grid to catch up
