Well all start on 2080Ti is from March, so by now I'd hope the issues had being resolved on later revisions.

Getting very reasonable on the lower end cards price wise.
But if I replace my 1080ti it would only be for a top tier custom PCB 2080ti, probably one with a AIO.

They are currently in the £1300-£1500 range.

Yeah it's the same for me too I was going to buy a 2080 but nahhh not at those prices for a card that seems to have so many issues , not gonna happen.

The reported failures have put me off as well.

But I'm sure Gibbo is correct though, in that the latest revisions / manufactures dates are probably all good now.
The only thing that worries me is how much old stock is still floating around that needs selling through.

At the end of day we are covered by the warranty I guess.
It's just a ball acre returning something and waiting for a replacement.

The last gen is selling over £1000 here :s? You not seeing the prices? Madness! The gtx980tis dropped to £300-350. Problem is the new cards performances are jokes when taking into account price. Either same performance as a 2 year old card for same money or double price for a 30% boost. Very disappointing. Clearly an Apple approach. Could sell a turd with its logo on it for big bucks

Not going to be buying a 2080 ti until ones with a waterbock on them come down.
The release models failing has put me off buying as usually removing the stock heatsink invalidates the warranty and if the card fails for other reasons...

When the waterblocked models come down to <£1000 then I'll move, but until then, no thank you. The only exception I'm aware of of is the eVGa card where the warranty remains intact if the stock cooler is removed.
Still makes me nervous though...
