Just got myself an Nvidia card having used ATI/AMD for years. How do I save profiles like Catalyst Manager? Do I have to use a third party tool for this?

Well they used to be in a file called NvApps.xml in /system32 folder but it seems things have changed since r256 branch of drivers, now they are built into the NVCP api itself.

You could simply use Nvidia Inspector to export/import your custom profiles when switching drivers.

*edit - quick google found there are also 2 files:-
nvdrsdb0.bin
nvdrsdb1.bin

in the C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs folder
which seem to hold the profile settings also

Thanks. Will be handy when it comes to reinstalling the drivers.

However, should have explained more thoroughly but I'm looking to change profiles. For example in Catalyst Control Center, I can have Profile1, Profile2 etc.. and change to which ever profile just by right clicking on the CCC system try icon and selecting the profile.

Surely I can do the same with Nvidia cards?
