So I've gotta say, the best thing to happen to the somewhat still new ShadowPlay has got to be the ability to record both In-Game and Local audio.

Question is, do you think they'll be updating it once more to record both sources on seperate channels?.. :D

It has been there for quite some time and it would be cool to record separate channels indeed.

To be honest I hadn't noticed they'd implemented it as I bought Action! by Mirillis since it was a solid replacement which recorded and encoded gameplay to an output file that didn't have audio issues once imported into Adobe Premire Pro.
With that I used Total Recorder to record the audio on two seperate channels, one for in-game and obviously local on the other.

I'm still torn between using TRP when I record gameplay audio as I know I'll be able to edit the audio so much quicker on seperate channels :) I do actually turn ShadowPlay to video only on occasion, but figure having it all in one now is less hassle, even if the aduio is on one channel.

Just a waiting game I guess!

I have been well impressed by this. this afternoon. I have recorded my boring tones as a test.

What I am more impressed with, is the single file recordings now. (win 10 i guess)

I have also seen a reduced overhead with it in the backgtound... Over all its great,

It works ok with W10? I have been a little nervous installing it because of it self up/downdating.

My latest post in the Windows 10 forum:
 0xC1900101 - 0x30018 - The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP operation"

I've attempted to install windows 10 half a dozen times now, these are the steps I’ve tried.

1. Changing my location setting to US in all areas apart from Keyboard.
2. Set the update available Registry Key to (1) rather than (2):

No luck..

My next step it to try Andre’s reply to this thread that Sangeeta initially replied to, her reply of which was so very, very helpful…

There’s a great walkthrough written by Andre Da Costa which includes plenty of ‘Do’s’ whilst getting ready to update/fresh install:

If anyone else has had these issues and found a fix or managed to install Win10 go ahead and holla!

~ Si

Basically, I have no idea yet if it works, as Windows 10 is giving me the cold shoulder ;)

Sorry let me clarify

I recorded over my game play and not in a separate audio track

Also, Win 10 does have a DVR. It's built into the Xbox app.

However

I have broken mine somehow.

I am not sure if it is anything to do with shadow play (it is switched off) or I am just useless.... it did pop up earlier, but it does not want to now....
