Nvidia ShadowPlay - Twitch Streaming - FPS Drop

I get around 70FPS in BF3 but when I enable streaming to Twitch through ShadowPlay, I drop all the way down to 25FPS

Any ideas?

Streaming uses a lot of resources. Especially at high details.

Could be literally anything, internet, CPU, RAM, HDD, GPU.

Try OBS with game capture and compare the results?

What are your system specs, about midrange I assume if you are only pushing 70FPS in BF3?

What Disk Drive are you capturing to, CPU etc?

Use OBS mate, best software there is and it's completely free.

Avoid Shadowplay imo, use OBS or FFsplit

I had this with Shadow Play with Skyrim. Only thing I didn't try was disabling SLi

I use Shadow Play a lot to record and also live stream to Twitch.

Not had an issue with the GTX 770, 12GB RAM, i5 3rd Gen, 110Mbps download / 12Mbps upload

Have you updated your drivers recently and download the latest GEForce Experience. That may help with the issues you are having

I've updated everything and still no improvement.

I just tried Open Broadcaster and I dropped all the way down to 11FPS

What's the X6 clocked at?

If it's at stock I imagine that's your issue. Also, what HDD?

Yeah, sitting at stock.

I've got a Samsung 840 pro 256GB - Not sure why that would matter though as I'm just streaming to Twitch, not recording?

Try with 1 card and see what happens

CPU is your potiential problem from What i can see, your trying to livestream which uses the CPU and playing BF3 which again is a CPU intensive game.

BUT! It shouldn't have that much of a dramatic effect, should still be streamable with decent enough FPS.
