I was lucky enough to get an invite to Nvidia shield event in London and was totally blown away by how professional everything was set up. The Shield is priced at £150 which I think is incredible and allows for playing on the device or your TV and comes with a sweet controller that is very comfy in the hands and playing on a TV, it felt very responsive. Not only that but it can also be used as a media player and comes with things like Netflix.
Shield Grid is a subscription based gaming service that is free for the first 3 months and then $8 a month thereafter and comes with tons of games that you can play straight off. I had a quick play of Batman Origins and was super impressed with how responsive the game was and gorgeous it looked on the big TV.
As soon as I get paid, I will be grabbing one of these bad boys for the living room.
