Just purchased one, arrived today - great bit of kit so far. Missing the remote though.

Clearly advertised on the site it comes with remote but on the box it says sold separately.
Contacted Amazon to find out what the script it, they said it doesn't come with remote and apologized.

1st world problem and not the end of the world but bit of a pain in the backside having to use a controller and a remote itself is £50 > to buy.

Anybody have any mishaps like this from Amazon? Did you get anything other than an apology?

Nah there is only another 500gb model. Maybe the newer ones don't come with them and they haven't updated. Can't find any info though

Hi guys it definitely said on description it comes with one. The box itself says it doesn't definitely no remote within. The customer advisor stated it does not come with one and has apologised and refunded 26 quid.

I'm confused as the reviews even on Amazon for same item have remotes on the review pictures etc.

Yea I think so, I'm not currently in at the moment but think I saw one at the back of it.

Do the 2015 and 2016 versions not come with remote's?

Mines is definitely the smaller one. I set it up briefly before going out and thought I saw an SD slot but must have imagined it. Will update later. I'm actually rather confused as all newer ones apparently have them and the Amazon customer service chap doesn't seem to know much either but insists it's not supposed to come with one even Though it clearly says and shows remotes with the shield on the website and reviews.
