Nvidia shield web browser

Hi.
I have an Nvidia shield , great bit of kit but apstore wise massively hobbled.
I want to get a decent browser installed on it, I have a version of brave running on it but unfortunately camel live TV won't work on it properly and it states you need a standard chrome install.
chrome won't install from the app store but apparently it works ok if you get the perfect apk... however I tried a few and none worked.
does anyone know the precise APK I need to sideload to the box (bunus point of you can pop a link here to it please.

edit .I tried installing aptoide but it said file not found. eventually found an apk and installed that and then was able to download Chrome but it now is stuck on ready to install but nothing happens when I click on it.

I tried a few years ago, I think I had most success with Opera and TV Bro. Ultimately I got fed up and stopped even trying to use a browser on the the Shield.

YMMV of course.

I haven't tried to install Chrome on my shield, but apparently the apks from apkpure should work.

Put it on a usb stick and make sure you have the option to install apps from unknown sources enabled.
