so when turning back on from standby, the green light bar on the sli bridge fails to come back on but works fine with a cold boot....anyone heard of this or know a fix?

i've got the 4 slot 2 way nvidia sli bridge with the green bar, two 980ti and newest drivers

Why don't you have a look at the settings you have for standby before you call everyone clueless...

Pretty sure I had the same issue with my 980Ti's. Bridge would be blank if the pc came back from sleep.

Not sure I ever fixed it, needed to re-enable SLI without re-booting to get it back on.

Don't have this problem with my 1080's though so as above it's either a bug with the cards or a setting in Windows or nvidia panel.

Sorry didnt mean to come across as an ass.

If i ever need to turn sli on and off i have to kill 3 or 4 applications everytime :'(

Anyone know what kind of settings i should be looking for? i am t he clueless one

Same thing happens with my Titan X (maxwell) but not 1080. Just suspect slight glitch with the Maxwell cards on the light front.

I found I could resolve it by bringing the brightness for the bridge down to 0 weirdly. Seemed after a standby, the % bar for the LED bridge swapped around. So going into Nvidia LED utility and setting the LED bridge lighting brightness to 0 solved it. However it did have the issue that after a proper reboot, it would use the settings as prescribed in Nvidia LED visualiser so unless you changed the brightness back to 100% again before the cold reboot, the bridge LED would be off.

Nice one! Totally forgot about the led utility since it was removed from experience. Like you i've had to set it to 0 which is full anyway lol

oh nvidia, how you'll always suck with programs
