Nvidia snags cross-platform tech to boost GameWorks PC project

You would be effectively moving from an open standard, with some closed 'source' practices to a completely closed standard in one move, but I won't argue with you! From a PC gamer perspective, I choose the product that nets me the best experience and try not to worry how it might directly affect the competition. It's all personal preference.
 
Yeah I know, but I figured what with dx12 cross platform support, the integration between all the hardware should make it easier to pickup and put down games and apps etc.

im getting old and cba with multiple platforms anymore, if they are all running the same thing it makes it easier for my tired old brain to cope ;)
