Got this a while back for $0.00 off the OcUK forums with a promo code, I assume that the NVidia Store works like Steam so I came to download the game today and got this message:

''Sorry,

It is too late to download this file. You were allowed to download within 30 days.

If you have any questions, please contact Digital River Customer Service at [email protected].''

Is there anyone who uses this service who can tell me what's cracking off here please?

Wouldn't mind trying this game out, just Googled 'Scary Games' and this was on many of the lists.

I think the Nvidia store only gives you a limited time to download your purchases from there servers, i also got this offer but kept a backup of the download files.

So people pay full price for games then have a limited time to download and install them? Sounds like a full price rental for 30 days to me, if I had known this I would have made a back up. Is there anyway I could get this game back then?

I fail to see why sarcastic remarks were required for suggesting something that will definitely solve the OPs problem.

Why waste time dealing with inept customer services people, eventually getting nowhere, when you can just do it yourself?

FYI I don't pirate much, if anything, besides the odd 1-2 hour "demo", and own quite a collection of legitimately acquired games/software.

Got this in the mail today:

''Dear Patrick,

Thank you for contacting the NVIDIA online store.

We understand your concern. All download products purchased through
NVIDIA online store have a window of 30 days from the date of purchase
in which a download can be completed. As a one time courtesy. we have
extended the download expiration until 11/26/10 10:07:09 PM CST.

To re-download your program, please follow these steps:''

So I download this and then just burn it to disk as it is? I have to download some installer first from NVidia though so i'm worried that it might not burn properly.

The 'installer' is most likely just Nvidia's in-house download manager, to resume the file download if your PC loses net connection or power mid-download.

See what file(s) it actually downloads, find where its' saved them and then burn those files onto a DVD (or multiple DVD's)

Should sort you out.
