Hey,

My cousin is trying to get his triple MSI AG32CQ monitors to run in 144hz using nvidia surround for his sim racing. The problem is he is only getting the option to run them at 60hz.

He is running them via 2x display ports and 1 x hdmi.

When not using surround he is able to run all monitors individually at 144hz.

The graphics card is a 2070 super with 2xDP 1xHDMI and 1xUSBC

If anybody could shed some light on how he can get the it to work at 144hz in surround that would be great.

Tom

I would see if he can do 1080p on all 3 first.
Yanked this off the interwebs :
Similarly, mixing outputs from your graphics card can be tricky. Some video cards will work with any combination of connections, but others demand you use specific ports. Some support "passive" adapters, meaning you can connect a dongle to convert a DVI port to a DisplayPort, for example. Others require "active" adapters—meaning you'll need to provide an additional power source before you can connect your card's DVI port to a display's DisplayPort input. Your best bet is to look around the web (again, search your card's model number and "3 monitors" or "active" and "passive") to see if other people have been successful with your card in a triple monitor setup. If all of that sounds like a pain, it is. If you start to get into the weeds with a card you already have, or get conflicting information from your research, you may be better off just upgrading your graphics card.
So if you tell us the name and brand of your graphics card that could help.
I'm not an expert with monitors, I just killed myself trying to get my desktop to stay locked on my dual screen
