NVIDIA Surround - pics

Anyone using surround? Thinking of going 3x 24".

Can you have the main monitor set to be the middle one for the purposes of using the OS and programs, ie can you have the task bar on it etc?

I've seen people with it on the left which is basically useless imo. Also can you still run programs like ultramon while it's set up?

The answer is you can't, but you can just turn surround mode off for desktop work.

How's the gaming working out? Last time I tried playing fps on someone's eyefinity set up I got motion sickness

Seems good so far, on Crysis the motion blur made the additional screens a mess so I turned it off and it's all good. Not sure what it will be like after hours of play though!

I reckon it would probably take a pair of GTX480s.

Well, my spec is GTX 480 SLI, I get 40-60FPS in Bad Company 2 at 5760x1200 maxxed.

Snograt is probably right if you want to be playing the latest games.
