looking at the specs on the monitors, you'll need to use DVI - the monitors should come with DVI cables I would imagine, but if not, these ones;

if you are trying to do this on a single card you will need a HDMI to DVI cable for the 3rd monitor, though you'll have to drop settings so far to get it running on a single card that really it is only worth it if you are going to go SLI, in which case you can just use 3 DVI ports across the 2 cards

Cheers for the response,

Yeah, I'll be grabbing another 770 and running them across the two.

What do people normally do when splitting the monitors across the cards, e.g Running one monitor on Card 1 and then 2 monitors on Card 2 vice versa or does it matter?

Sorry to bump this back up, I'm very tempted to go out and buy my third monitor, But since i'm still on the one 770, Can I use 2 dvi 1hdmi to get surround working? Only asking because Andy mentioned i'll need a hdmi to dvi cable.

Cheers.

Yes.

HDMI to DVI adaptor is only required if your monitor doesn't have native HDMI in.

DVI-->DVI
DVI-->DVI
HDMI-->via adaptor-->DVI

That is what I run on my single 780.

Yes, Why didn't I do so this sooner, Just played Grid 2 on highish settings thinking 3 screens was pushing a single gpu but I was getting 130fps, and I love it.

wow surprising performance from a single card!

I really want to go surround but I like my games maxed out.

It just seemed ultra enthusiast to need to have gTX 780/Titan Sli

what other games do you have that you could try in surround?

Grid2 and Dirt 3 are the only racing games i've tried, I did have to drop some settings for these two weirdly, but nevertheless its still running them at high/Ultraish settings.

I never expected the 770 to perform so well, I'll definately be going SLI with them.

But what I do need is a proper triple stand for them, the cheapy stands on the monitors make them sit out of place terribly.

Any good less expensive then the XFX stands for 3 24" anyone?

I bought a variant of the Highgrade TS746A last week and have been very impressed with it. I'm using the bottom 3 mounts and then the single central top mount for my fourth screen - I've simply left off the arms for the other two top screens. It's very sturdy, well put together and doesn't move once it's in place with a couple of screens on it. There's a 3 screen model called the TS743A. Unfortunately it looks like the only people I can find stocking it in this country call it by their own brand names and model numbers, so I can't link or give you model numbers to search for without breaking forum rules. :mad:
