Nvidia TNT widescreen drivers

Hi. My mate has got himself a nice 19" widescreen monitor to use with his 360 and pc. It works great on the 360 but his rubbish on board graphics chip doesn't have drivers that support widescreen resolutions and he has no dvi output on it.

I've just grabbed him a cheap graphics card with a dvi output so he can connect both to the screen without constantly pulling out the vga cable but need to find some drivers that will give him widescreen support. The latest ones for the chip i suspect is on the card are here..

but i don't know if they add widescreen support. can anyone recommend a driver that will allow this? He doesn't plat games at all on his pc so 3d performance is not important, just widescreen in windows!

Any nvidia card + latest drivers will support widescreen.

The widescreen resolutions should appear in the control panel once you connect the monitor and start up the PC.

i know it does with the newer cards, just this is a pretty old one from the looks of things. I'll give it a go with the ones i can get from nvidia and see how i get on.
