Can someone tell me the best way to install drivers when changing from an nvidia card to a amd card.

Or is it best to reinstall windows.

Simply uninstall from cp, and then you can remove any outstanding folders that are remaining if you wish. Normally, that should be all you need to do.

Where did that uninstalled thread go? I found it really useful as it stopped windows installing graphics automatically and deleted the folder.

I would always warn against driversweeper as ,although it will do the job, from time to time it has been known to cause problems down the line. I speak from experience with it but a tool called display driver uninstaller works perfectly and has been spoken about on here recently and held in high regard.

Just boot into safe mode and run DDU. Jobs a good un :)

Sorry Snips, not saying your wrong just know of a few peeps who have had trouble with DS. If you havnt used DDU yet I think its a nifty little tool to use
