Going to try an ATI card and wondered what i should use to ensure the current NVIDIA drivers are totally removed. I am not really fancying a format and there must be a recommended tool for the job?

Remove the Nvidia drivers, restart and stop it from installing the drivers back again. Turn off, swap cards, install drivers, off you go

When i switched from a GTX275 to a 5870 i just uninstalled Nvidia via the uninstall programme listing in control panel, removed the card, put 5870 in and then just install ati drivers not had one crash ever.

uninstall old drivers restart...turn off than replace old card with new, install drivers should be done if you have a problem uninstall drivers restart and use driver sweeper in safe mode restart check again with driver sweeper..install the new cards drivers...again

should be sorted.. I only use driver sweeper if I have too
