Afternoon all

Apologies in advance if this has been asked already, searching didn't return anything useful.

I interested in running 3 monitors but currently I only have a single GTX580. To run three screens I'm going to need to get another card for SLI but does the additional card need to be a GTX580 too?

Would a 460 or similar to the job?

Will mainly be used for gaming at 5760x1080.

Thanks

For gaming you will need a matching pair in SLI. For just desktop stuff you can put in any old 2nd card but that won't work with nVidia Surround (tho will work, at a big performance hit, with stuff like SoftTH for gaming).
