nvidia video quality ?

Getting bad quality on dvd's, divx etc using media player classic 64 bit, and vlc, and WMP, and also on youtube, HQ doesnt make any difference.

Im running a lg 22" HDTV @ 1680x1050 and a GTX260.

I have noticed this with other nvidia cards and latest drivers, inc 192shader 260, and 8800gtx.

With ati everything is perfect.

Is there some setting im missing ? The quality is bad, very blocky lots of lines and generally VHS quality.

Ive tried tweaking the nvidia purevideo settings and they make no difference at all.

are u using the VGA or dvi or hdmi?
Make sure your saving the profile setting on ur GPU. update the gpu drivers.

This is most likely what your problem is....

Try/buy a DVI cable and see if the picture quality is any better.....

Why are you even using a analog VGA cable ??

On DVI- HDTV convertor i get a blank screen. HDTV + Nvidia cba driver team = fail.
