NVIDIA VR Device?. 4K Resolution

Hi. Looking at NVidia change resolution when oculus app is open it gives me 2 displays. One monitor and NVIDIA VR Device.

If i click the DELL S2716DG display which is a 1440p monitor i can choose different resolutions and refresh rates. If i look at the NVIDIA VR Device monitor it only has one resolution which is 3840 X 2160 (Native) and only 60hz refresh rate.

Isn't 3840x 2160 4K?. Why is the Oculus showing as 4k?.

I'm using display port in my graphic card for TV and using the HDMI in graphic card for Oculus.

It's a virtual display that's used for compositing into the new Dash, where you can do things like drag windows into your environment. It's not the screen of the headset.
