The driver support is the main reason I try to stay away from nVidia GPUs.
I remember when I had my GF2GTS, it was a stonking little card that one. However, it would only work with the drivers that came on the CD in the box, anything else and it would BSOD on boot.
I tried to get support, and was basically told "It's an old card now so we don't care".
This was about 9-12 months after they launched.
Went to ATi and haven't looked back. I got my X1950XTX second hand so I didn't pay retail and I thought about stumping up extra for the 8800GTS, but I don't see why I should tbh.
